When ever we have MacDonald’s it is the same order every time – two Cheeseburgers, one Fillet-o-Fish, one Cheeseburger no meat add tomato, two medium fries, two medium soft drinks, and a caramel sundae for M34tb4LL. But every time we get Maccas, they will hand me the drinks and the sundae and say there will a three-minute wait on the 'grill'. And every time I hand them back the sundae and say I will have it when the rest of the order is ready so it does not start melting. Half the time they just put it in the freezer and give it back to me, but hello, the topping is hot! And it starts to melts the ice cream anyway!!! I did go inside one time, instead of drive through, and let the minion behind the counter ruin the sundae. I then flagged down the manager, who was just leaning on a bin chatting to her boyfriend and had been since I walked in, and told her my on going sundae concerns and would she please teach her staff about the nature of ice cream with a hot topping. She said they know and don’t tend to give the sundae before the rest of the meal, but she would mention it to them all again.

So that was about six weeks ago and every time I have been back since, I have to passed the sundae back and instruct them to give it to me when the rest of the food is ready, and not just give me back the same one that is half melted.

“Sigh”, I wonder how many of my fish burgers they have spat in by now?
