Is Someone Watching Me? |
[ July 18, 2002 ] |
There seems to be some weird sort of psychological study going on at work.
Firstly they tell us the toilets aren't working. They do this
three times in a month, and each time they do it at about 4:30. This
makes it too early to just go home, but likely to be close enough that people
haven't gone yet. The experiment seems to have been inconclusive, as
they needed to do it three times.
Next, they decided that we on the second floor had to not move around, as
we made loud squeaking noises which would interrupt the interview it a VIP
downstairs. Coincidentally, they times the do-not-move with a do-not-go-to-the-toilet.
I am not sure if this was deliberate, or whether they got confused.
If is the second (as I suspect), then we will probably see a re-run
of the sit-still drill in the near future.
I'm wondering what is coming up. Are they going to lock all the doors
and not let us in? Or maybe they'll mess around with the air-conditioning
so it gets stuffy or cold.... hang on, they're already doing that. I
feel like a lab rat! If a large wheel turns up, I AM NOT RUNNING
IN IT!!!
